Handcrafted to a medium-bodied style and aged in mature barriques, the nose shows gorgeous Turkish Delight, red rose and cherry. Often considered the workhorse of the GSM blend, our stand-alone 'Hohepunkt' or pinacle Grenache sits confidentently alongside our highly regarded Shiraz and Mataro single varietals.
Bless this wine for it makes clear the argument that old vines, in this case 100+ years, are distinctive & distinguished. The full-bodied palate is glossy and seamless, the tannins velvety and powerful, & the finish long. In between there's licorice, sweet oak & a core of exceptional fruit.
Crafted from early picked Shiraz fruit, the off dry style is a perfect marriage, not too sweet & not too dry. Exudes raspberry, ruby grapefruit and hints of spice.
The 'Sweet Hart’ Frizzante is created from a small patch of Frontignac grapes. Lightly spritzed, our Frontignac has delicate floral aromas, honeysuckle, lemon sherbet, citrus and lychee.
